CMLabs announces new Vortex Training Simulator product line

CMLabs partners with OETIO to deliver operator training simulators and curricula.

February 14, 2006 – Montreal, Canada – CMLabs Simulations Inc., the leading supplier of real-time physics-based simulation software and services announces the availability of the new Vortex Training Simulator product line in collaboration with the Operating Engineers Training Institute of Ontario (OETIO).

CMLabs’ Vortex physics engine is the basis of the heavy equipment simulators while OETIO provides their award winning training curricula to provide a proven and validated product for the be operator training industry. The first products in the series, Vortex Mobile Crane and Vortex Tower Crane, are now ready to ship.

OETIO has now trained several classes of operators on the Vortex Mobile Crane training simulator with great success.

CMLabs long-standing success in providing physics simulation development toolkits and specialized engineering services, along with OETIO’s internationally recognized leadership in crane and heavy equipment operator training, positions Vortex Training Simulators to be a great success. The construction equipment training market now has access to high-fidelity, physically-realistic simulation at a price point that was not previously achievable.
